Ingredients:
FOR PIZZA
- 1 pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup Bookbinder's Tartar Sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup mixed seafood (shrimp, scallops, and crab meat)
- 1/2 cup diced red bell pepper
- Olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: red pepper flakes for heat
FOR TAPENADE
- 1/2 cup finely chopped black and green olives
- 2 tablespoons Bookbinder's Prepared Horseradish
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped Italian parsley
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1/4 fresh lemon, squeezed
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness and shape.
- Transfer the dough to a pizza stone or baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush outer ring of crust with olive oil.
- Spread a layer of Bookbinder's Tartar Sauce over the pizza dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce.
- Arrange the mixed seafood and red bell pepper on top.
- Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, and optional red pepper flakes.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
- While pizza is baking, create homemade tapenade by mixing together chopped olives, Bookbinder's Prepared Horseradish, Italian parsley, extra virgin olive oil, and freshly squeezed lemon.
- Remove from the oven. Sprinkle homemade tapenade over pizza and serve with additional Bookbinder's Tartar Sauce for dipping.
