Ingredients:
2 packages of cream cheese, softened1 tbsp of Bookbinder's Prepared Horseradish
1 cup of finely shredded cheddar cheese
1 tsp salt
cracked black pepper
For topping:
1 cup bacon
1/3 cup green onions
1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
Directions:
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, Bookbinder's Prepared Horseradish, shredded cheddar cheese, and salt and pepper. Set the topping ingredients aside for later.
- Place the cheese mixture onto a sheet of wax paper, parchment paper, or plastic wrap. Cover it with another sheet.
- Shape the mixture into a football by gently molding it with your hands.
- Once shaped, transfer the cheese ball to a plate or tray. Sprinkle the bacon bits, pecans, and green onions evenly over the surface, pressing them gently so they stick.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to 1 hour.
- Serve with crackers or sliced bruschetta.
