Ingredients:
- 12 tsp. olive oil, divided
- 1 ½ tsp thyme, divided
- 12 pieces of shaved ham
- 12 pieces of gruyere cheese
- 12 tbsp. Bookbinder's Stone Ground Dijon Mustard, divided
- cracked black pepper to taste
- 1 package frozen puff pastry sheets
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees F, line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- On parchment paper in 12 spots add 1 tsp. olive oil, 1/8 tsp. thyme one slice of shaved ham, one piece of gruyere cheese. Top with 1 tbsp. Bookbinder's Stone Ground Dijon Mustard and sprinkle on fresh cracked black pepper.
- Roll out puff pastry on to lightly floured counter, cut into 12 equal pieces. Each sheet should give you 6 pieces.
- Top each pile of ham and cheese with a cut sheet of puff pastry
- Beat one egg well to create an egg wash. Brush over the top of each piece of puff pastry
- Bake at 425 degrees F for 15-20 minutes
- Flip puff pastry sheets on to a plate and serve immediately.
- Optional: Top with extra Bookbinder's Stone Ground Dijon Mustard.
